Changelog
Release history and compatibility notes.
The current version is 1.20.0, which requires Anki 24.11 or later. Updates install through Anki's add-on manager: Tools > Add-ons > Check for Updates.
1.20.0
- Settings: removed the concurrency controls from the config dialog; the values stay hand-editable in config.json and behave as before.
- Settings: the TTS playback speed slider moved to the Appearance tab.
- Fixed: the translation icon ignored clicks while translations were hidden (the keyboard shortcut still worked).
1.19.1
- Fixed: Pindu windows failing to open on smaller screens or with high display scaling.
1.19.0
- Review UI: passages now render as paragraphs with more natural text layout.
- Prepare: redesigned expanded generation progress panel; review chunking is now managed automatically (manual length and split controls removed).
- Corpus Preview: display now organized by passage.
- Collection Preview: "Export All" writes every word in the collection to CSV; page navigation is much faster.
- Review: compound words now credit their component words more consistently at commit.
- Fixed: stale dictionary, translation, or audio results when rapidly clicking between words; Undo of review commits sometimes failing on Anki 24.11; a crash when stopping passage TTS playback on Anki 24.11; custom segments misaligning after emoji or rare characters; partial commit failures leaving stale collection state; the review timer staying paused after closing stacked dialogs; blank AI generations producing empty passages; interrupted LLM streams duplicating text; and a dozen smaller issues.
- Note: saved review sessions from earlier versions cannot be resumed after this update.
Earlier releases are listed in the full version history.
